Milwaukee-based producer Cade Zube releases his debut album titled Here On Earth.
Fresh off the release of the Genesis Renji collab album Keefe, which gained itself a place on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinels “6 must-hear Milwaukee albums”, Cade Zube directed his attention towards a new project that would come to be known as Here On Earth. Here On Earth is a 10 track, alt hip-hop album that features the talents of 20 different artists and musicians. Features include local acts like Von Alexander, Klassik, and Jayne Joyce as well as nationally recognized artists Anonymuz, Mickey Factz, and Leach.
With all 10 tracks produced by Cade Zube, he puts us into a nostalgic, atmospheric space with his production that sets the tone as soon as the opening track begins. He says, “Here On Earth is an album about appreciating where you are in your life while looking out towards the future and what it can be. The production on this album reinforces that idea by using a mix of acoustic and electronic sounds. This represents the present and the future.”
The album’s standout single “Thursday" with Jayne Joyce and Mocity has received great praise and is already a fan favorite. Lyric videos for the album are on Cade’s youtube channel.
